Whitney Asher

In 2015, Whitney founded The Marketing Mixtape, a boutique PR and branding agency, to help artists navigate the “business” side of music. Having worked at Capitol Records and iHeartMedia, armed with a Master’s degree in “Strategy & Business” from the VCU Brandcenter, Whitney has proven results doing the “indie hustle” with her clients. To date, Whitney has worked with brands and artists such as Xbox, NASCAR, CamelBak, “The Voice” contestants Evan Mckeel and Tim Atlas, Julia Ross (Miley Cyrus, The Chainsmokers) and Jackson Wells, to name a few. The Marketing Mixtape’s mission, “dream fearlessly,” comes from Whitney’s desire to help artists overcome business challenges so they can get back to the music.
