Veronique Medrano is a Regional Mexican, bilingual artist from Brownsville, Texas. In 2013, after graduating from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, she launched her debut full-studio album ‘Encantadora’, which was the first Tejano/Regional Mexican album to be crowdfunded online. She is the leading lady in the indie scene for Tejano/Conjunto in the Mexican Regional market.
She has opened up for the following artists: Daddy Yankee, El Dusty, Elida Reyna, Siggno, Shelly Lares and Emilio Navaira. Veronique released her sophomore album “Mi Año Dorado” in June 2016, and her single “La Pulga” has made social media news with the music video hitting over 500,000 views.
Veronique Medrano has earned 3 nominations at the Tejano Music Awards for Best New Female & Best New Group. As of October 2017, she signed with CHR Records out of Corpus Christi and on March 16th released her 3rd Studio album with them titled “Loteria”.
