Applications for the 2018 ECMC have closed. The 2019 application will be available in June. Attendees who are not scheduled to perform will still be able to perform in open mics, busking, and there lots of spaces around the conference and in Downtown Norfolk to just jam. The ECMC for 2018 will feature approximately 100 artists playing on multiple stages in Norfolk, VA.
All accepted performers receive full access passes to all shows, panels, and speakers ($99 value per pass). In addition to playing paid gigs at unique venues in one of America’s best cities, attendees will receive a first rate education on how to succeed in the rapidly changing music industry and make connections that can accelerate your career.
The performances will take place in an array of surprising venues including urban rooftops and one of the most acclaimed libraries built in recent years. The selected artists can represent any style or fusion of music and may come from anywhere (foreign artists must have the appropriate visa).
